Located 80 km from the city of Salto, Salto Department's capital, the Arapey is Uruguay's oldest spa. Water is obtained from a drilling depth of 1200 m, directly from the Guarani Aquifer.

In the complex you can find outdoor pools and also an indoor pool, which is set with plants to recreate a natural environment. All pools have information posters about the water temperature, they range between 37 and 42 °C.

Getting There

From the capital, Montevideo, for those who own their own vehicle, can be accessed via Routes 3 and 24.
