Piriápolis surroundings offer tourists a wide range of possibilities, a single trip travel is not well spent the toll on the Interbalnearia Solís large stream, the string of beaches that stretches from Punta Negra Balnaerio Solís, as over Route 10.

The first link in the chain is Balneario Solís, km 79, a careful and charming beaches to enjoy and appreciate fish below Bella Vista with its narrow, rocky beaches, a serene spa and family but there, one step Piriápolis noise. This gets us over the Las Flores, with Route 10 separating from the beach to cut in half and then place two small beaches, clear waters of wide beach and Playa Hermosa Verde. And there, in the bend of Route 10, opens with its spectacular view of Playa Grande.

And now, Piriápolis welcomes us with its little beach and always deeply saturated in the summer, the endless rush of cars and people crowded restaurants, sidewalks, hotels. An impressive sight is the harbor, host of yachts and boats that filled a mooring, it offers a unique day and night. If we rotate back to sea and look up along the Cerro San Antonio, look healthy with open arms the precious Madonna of the fishermen, who sail from the slope of the hill by the mariners, who have installed on their rambla positions where it is always possible to get fresh seafood or prepared by themselves. The Virgin is located on the cornerstone of the city, where the first Mass was celebrated in Piriápolis.

If we continue down the avenue, and leaving behind Punta Fria, we get the beach resort of San Francisco. Has, in my opinion, one of the best beaches in the area, with a wide strip of white sand and calm waters anything, but highly enjoyable. And beyond that, proud and elegant, stands Punta Colorada. A small beach adds to the spectacular red rocks that characterize and always filled with fish. On the promenade, access to the SOS Marine Rescue, which assist endangered marine animals, occasionally you will find lobitos, turtles and even penguins, but unfortunately is closed to the public sporadically due to lack of staff.

And finally, with the rocks almost painted of black color, giving it a unique appearance, are black spots. Its rocky beach and a lot of fish (La Blanca, La restinga, etc..) Widely known and used by expert fishermen, while their families enjoy the sun on rocks or beyond where the sand to rocky beats fishing their right to the sea.

Undoubtedly, an unsurpassed menu that includes wild and serene beaches, rocks and white sand. At dusk it will be advisable to seek a proper accommodation and rest a bit before starting our last tour, this time by the city of Piriápolis.
